May I give words of encouragements. With what that is happening now, many of us may be feeling anxiety, helpless, fear and hopeless.
The enemy is doing all he can to rob us of our joy and peace, to take our eyes off Jesus and put it on fear and hopelessness.
A picture is worth a thousand words and this picture is saying so much.
Now pair this with John 10:10…
” The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. “
The greek word for abundant is perissos (Strong’s #4053) which means…
1) exceeding some number or measure or rank or need
1a) over and above, more than is necessary, superadded
1a1) exceeding abundantly, supremely
1a2) something further, more, much more than all, more plainly
1b) superior, extraordinary, surpassing, uncommon
1b1) pre-eminence, superiority, advantage, more eminent, more remarkable, more excellent
Let us all keep our eyes on Jesus and ask Him to give us more than 100% life, hope, peace, joy, faith, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self control, grace, mercy, forgiveness, restoration, and the greatest of all these, LOVE.
